Barley news Ukraine: Barley prices keeps growing trend

According to "APK-Inform" data monitoring, prices continue increasing on Ukrainian barley market, AgriMarket reported April 27.

High demand kept by export-oriented companies supported prices. Lots of grain holders estimating the situation in this segment restrain sales hoping for bullish trend keeping.

Barley holders fix the prices exceeding 1000 UAH/t level on ex-elevator terms.

Export companies being interested in additional consolidation of shipload lots in short time continue increasing purchasing prices. Offers on barley purchases on terms of delivery to the ports are at 1000-1060 UAH/t prices and within 170-180 USD/t (CPT-port). Offers on barley purchases on FOB terms are at 185-190 USD/t level.

The market participants don't exclude possibility of further rise in prices in this segment. At that experts suppose that increase of barley prices will change for decrease in Ukraine in the nearest future. Thus, in present companies realized contracts reduced purchasing prices in ports to 980-1000 UAH/t.
